It is , indeed, a great pleasure to read The New Times each morning and see how Rwanda continues to shine in all spheres while marching boldly towards excellence. On Monday, it was Hillywood and the film industry. Yesterday, it is the aviation industry.  I am delighted to read that Turkish Airlines will be opening the Kigali route next April.

Kudos to Temel Kotil , Chief Executive , Turkish Airlines and his team on this great  initiative. Connectivity is a key element for the economic growth and prosperity of any country.

The very fact that Turkish Airlines will soon open up the Kigali route only serves as an endorsement,  that  Rwanda’s time has now come and the country beckons investors - both tourists and investors to come and explore what this great nation has to offer the world.

It is gratifying  to note, that  in this development process , all  Government agencies like the Rwanda Development Board , the Immigration Department , the concerned Ministries , the High Commissions and Embassies of Rwanda as well as the Private Sector Federation all  work in close co-ordination and perfect harmony, thus making it a pleasure to do business with the New Rwanda.
