A multinational religious conference is slated for Kigali next week, bringing together clerics from Rwanda, the United States, Italy, Canada, Denmark, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Other clerics from various African countries including South Sudan, Somalia and South Africa will attend the seven-day conference organised by Authentic World Ministries in collaboration with Zion Temple.
A multinational religious conference is slated for Kigali next week, bringing together clerics from Rwanda, the United States, Italy, Canada, Denmark, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
Other clerics from various African countries including South Sudan, Somalia and South Africa will attend the seven-day conference organised by Authentic World Ministries in collaboration with Zion Temple.
"The church has contributed Rwf 40m that will be used to support the most vulnerable people,” said Apostle Paul Gitwaza, founder of Zion Temple.
Gitwaza explained that activities to support the needy will be conducted during the week-long gathering.
He added that, among other activities, the delegates will visit and provide financial support to Kimironko Prison, widows and orphans at Mandela Village in Bugesera District and offer free medical services.
About 400 delegates are expected from across the globe. Renowned Bishop Joseph Mattera of Brooklyn of New York is expected to lead a host of distinguished guest speakers among them Nigeria’s Phillip Ibignijesu, and Byron J. Williams from the US.
The Africa Arise and Shine Conference, will be held under the theme "invading nations with the kingdom culture”
It is the 12th edition ever since its launch in 2001.
