However, the Rwandans fought back and dominated possession, ending the half with a goal from Bonaventure Twizeyimana. Twizeyimana made it 2-2 soon after the break before Silas Misago won it for the Seniors in the 89th minute.
The Conservative team, who are working on social action projects across Rwanda, included 2 Members of the British Parliament, keen sportsmen Stephen Crabb MP and Brooks Newmark MP.
"We fielded a strong team today, including a 15 year-old Manchester City trainee, an ex-Liverpool academy player and a former professional from Port Vale FC,” MP Stephen said after the game.
For their effort, the Rwandan team was awarded the coveted Umubano Trophy for the second year running.
