Iam a regular reader of your newspaper and allow me to thank the lower chamber of Deputies for taking the initiative to investigate all officials implicated in mismanaging public funds.

The Auditor General’s report presented last week before the joint parliament committee indicates huge sums of money being unaccounted for by these officials.

The spirit of impunity is what the lawmakers are trying to fight to check the misuse of taxpayers.

I call upon the public to join these parliamentarians in the fighting of public funds that would have otherwise been used to cater for the most vulnerable people in various parts of the country. Continue the war on the corrupt officials!
