I have been a long time of admirer of the social security fund. It is an important fund that can help you survive when you are too old to work. And indeed it has done great service to many old retiring people of Rwanda. But I have a great complaint that I share with a lot of people in the country. It is about the SCF modalities of paying.

They make old men and women in their late 80s travel for so many days coming to claim small amounts of money that is paid in installments. They should put some reasonable modalities that do not make these ageing men and women suffer as they come to collect the small money.

A new measure should be put in place otherwise we shall see the institution as useless and trouble nurturing.
