Clémentine Uwitonze a.k.a Tonzi is one of the country’s renowned female gospel musicians. She says week days are usually a busy affair for her. Below is how she spends her weekend;

I start my weekend at around 3p.m on Friday. After the church service, I may either go to Bourbon Coffee in town or Lemigo hotel. I always move with my husband or family.

While at Lemigo, I enjoy many things the most interesting being swimming and relaxing in that nice compound.

On Saturday, I dedicate all my time to taking care of the family. In this regard, I prepare the most delicious meal including mushrooms and chips.

In the evening, I sometimes visit friends or relatives depending on the program of that particular day.

Although not always, I also get sometime to go for sports as well as getting involved in domestic work.

Sunday being a holy day, I spend it at home. I mostly concentrate on preparing for what I have to do in next week.

At around 4p.m I listen to some music as I prepare evening tea and supper. By 8p.m, everything is ready.

I do not immediately go to bed after supper. I normally give myself a 30 minute rest, say a prayer and then sleep. That makes my weekend perfect.
