THE national beach volleyball team is confident of winning the Zonal beach volleyball tournament in Nairobi, Kenya next week.The tournament will be staged in Mombasa from July 26 to 30 and head Coach Alexis Mbaraga says that the players have prepared well for the event.
THE national beach volleyball team is confident of winning the Zonal beach volleyball tournament in Nairobi, Kenya next week.
The tournament will be staged in Mombasa from July 26 to 30 and head Coach Alexis Mbaraga says that the players have prepared well for the event.
"The preparations have been good and the players are in great shape,” he said.
The men’s team is comprised of Fabien Ndamukunda and Jean Luc Mbonyuwontuma while Marchal Pierre Kwizera will pair up with Mutesi.
In the ladies category, Emiliene Uwineza will team up with Jeanette Niyigena while Charlotte Nzayisenga will team up with Judith Hakizimana.
Other nations due to take part include Kenya, Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Seychelles, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
The winner will edge closer to a 2012 London Olympics Games slot.
