Ferwafa 5-0 SC Kiyovu

PRIMUS League side SC Kiyovu suffered one of their heaviest defeats in pre-season training after losing 5-0 against Ferwafa academy.

Kabes Hategekimana, who was in goal, was the only player who featured in the just ended Fifa U-17 World Cup in Mexico.

The academy took a 3-0 first half lead thanks to goals by Jean Paul Rulisa on the 16th minute, Patrick Sibomana on the 42nd minute and an own goal from Kiyovu’s Iddy Nshimiyimana on the 35th minute.

After the break, Alex Ngirimana scored another own goal before Sibomana sealed a brace with four minutes to play.

The old giants, who finished second on the Primus league standings with 41 points, are regrouping ahead of next year’s Orange Confederation Cup.
