It is not often that we hear of DJs going for vacation. But, it’s also puzzling how on earth a disc jockey, would choose an Arab country like Oman for holiday.
DJ Karim, who has been plying his trade at Club Next and Planet Club at KBC, left the country early this week to take a break from his late night job in the Middle Eastern country of Oman.
"I am going on a three months holiday in Oman, where my family lives, and I hope to come back when I’ve freshened up,” DJ Karim confirmed.
The 28-year-old professional DJ, who was on Tuesday night treated to an extravagant farewell party by friends and fellow DJs, noted that: "while in Oman, there are chances I might play music in the clubs, though their music is different from ours.”
Before making his mark at Kigali’s night clubs, DJ Karim played in Huye at the defunct Safari Club and Melo Twist Club. He is currently, working with Ruff Cuts DJs led by DJ Kadir.
