THE National Paralympic Committee (NPC) has named a five-man squad for the forth coming 10th All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique.The Games will run from September 3-18.Hermas Muvunyi will compete in 400m and 800m, Theoneste Nsengimana will race in 1500m while Jean Claude Ndayisenga will feature in 100m and 200m.

Hermas Muvunyi will compete in 400m and 800m, Theoneste Nsengimana will race in 1500m while Jean Claude Ndayisenga will feature in 100m and 200m.
Thomas Uwimana and Theoneste Bazambanza will compete in 100m, 200m and 400m.
The quintet was picked after impressing in the second phase of the Athletics National Championship for People with disability over the weekend at Amahoro stadium.
NPC secretary general Celestin Nzeyimana told Times Sport that the athletes showed great character and determination en route to winning their respective categories.
"They earned their slots after impressing in the African National Championship over the weekend,” he said before adding, "They will also use the games to qualify for next year’s London Paralympic Games.”
