Coach Ruslan Adamov and Didier Guy Rurangayire (delegation head) complete the 10-man contingent.
Ahead of the team’s departure, Rurangayire, who is also technique director in the Karate federation, expressed his optimism about the team’s chances.
"They are been training strongly for the past two weeks and we expect a descent performance from them.”
Some of the other countries in contention include Uganda, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Burundi, Tanzania and hosts Kenya.
