Dear editor,
Following a recent article published in the New Times paper dated Friday 7th March 2008 about expired products destroyed, people visiting shops must always be careful and read expiry dates before buying these products.
Also we should all be concerned enough and always report cases of expired foodstuffs to the police, and when any supplier is caught in action, they should appear before courts of law, because expired products are very hazardous to human life.
It is very scaring to find out some companies supplying expired food products, like Nestle products, when most of our children consume only this everyday.
Concerned officials should instantly get involved in investigating other companies supplying food stuffs before supplying their products to the market.
