As club continue chase for Bokota and Abouba Sibomana

AFTER a relatively successful season where they finished 3rd in the Primus league and also reached the
Peace Cup final, Police now want to go a notch higher after signing Peter Kagabo.

The 25-year-old winger signed a two-year-deal and pocketed a signing on fee of Rwf 5m. The midfielder is
also set to pocket a monthly salary of Rwf 350.000; up from the Rwf 200.000 he was getting at Rayon Sport.

Kagabo, who is currently on holiday in Kampala told Times Sport yesterday that he plans to help his new
club challenge APR for the league and Peace Cup trophies next season.

"I want to repay the faith the club put in me by helping them win the league and Peace Cup,” the Amavubi
player said.

Kagabo played for Atraco before joining the blues and was part of the Atraco side that won the 2009 Cecafa
Kagame Cup in Sudan.

The winger’s form last season also saw Amavubi Captain Haruna Niyonzima drop to the bench during last
month’s 2012 Africa Nations’ Cup return leg qualifier against Burundi.

Police are also still pursuing Rayon’s left back Abouba Sibomana and Bokota Labama who plies his trade in
DRC for Motema Pembe.
