I extol  the United Kingdom government for its efforts to exert more pressure on Zimbabwe and other countries harbouring fugitives of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide against the Tutsi, to cooperate with the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) and ensure the suspects are arrested and brought to justice.

Other countries in Europe should borrow a leaf from UK. It is clear that many key Genocide suspects are very rich and still use their wealth to buy protection from powerful personalities.

But if we put our hands together, I am certain these suspects will be brought to book, no matter how long it takes.

The countries protecting these murderers should think about the over one million innocent Rwandan lives that were lost.

The victims need justice and there is no way justice can prevail without punishing those that committed these heinous crimes.

It is sad that some African countries, who should have been at the forefront of helping arrest genocide fugitives are the very ones shielding them.
