The Rwanda Private Sector Federation (PSF) has taken up APELAS, a platform in which employers provide medical and moral support to their employees living with HIV/Aids.

The take-over ceremony was held yesterday at Hotel Novotel Umubano, Kigali, in the presence of the officials from both RPSF and the National Aids Control Commission (CNLS), under which the body has been operating.

RPSF president Robert Bayigamba said the federation decided to take up that role after they learnt that some private sector federations in other countries were involved in such activities.
