Editor,
The arrest and eventual transfer of Genocide suspect and former head of interahamwe militia in the Western Province, Bernard Munyagishari, to the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) in Arusha, Tanzania to face trial is a triumph for all Rwandans.
The trial of Munyangishari, who featured on the US Rewards for Justice Program as a fugitive from international justice, with a bounty of US$ 500,000 on his head, means that Genocide suspects can hide but not forever.
People who commit crimes against humanity should realise that the world will no longer protect them. Their final destination is jail, no matter how long it takes.
