Fifty Rwandan exhibitors are set to participant in the country’s first trade fair in Brazzaville, the Republic of Congo. The exhibition is slated to take place from June 18 to 20, 2011. It was originally set to take place at the end of last month but was postponed because Congo Brazzaville’s Parliament was holding a function at the same venue of the expo.

"We have 50 exhibitors, more than 40 business people seeking business opportunities and 20 performers from the Rwanda National ballet,” said Ephraim Karangwa, the acting Director of Investments and Special Projects at the Private Sector Federation (PSF).
Private Sector Federation (PSF) alongside Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and RwandAir as well as the Ministry of Trade and Industry are the organisers of the exhibition.
The Minister of Trade and Industry, Francois Kanimba, will lead the Rwandan delegation.
The exhibition is in line with government’s efforts to promote the country’s products in regional markets. It is expected to provide a platform for business communities from both countries to interact in search of market opportunities.
