GASABO - 157 students from SOS Hermann Technical High School, yesterday, graduated with certificates in various disciplines; Information Technology, Accountancy, Electricity and Wood Work.

During the graduation ceremony that took place at the school premises in Gasabo District, Alfred Munyentwali, SOS Children’s Village National Director, urged the graduates to utilize the entrepreneurial skills they have gained and maintain good reputations.

"Skills and academic knowledge without character can’t take you anywhere. You must be honest and truthful in all you do, especially your careers. Endeavour to be agents of positive change wherever you go,” said Munyentwali.

He further advised them to create their own jobs since they are now equipped with knowledge and skills, instead of waiting to be employed.

Muvunyi Kiba, the Director of the school, stressed that the school emphasized entrepreneurship skills and that many of their students are doing well in the labour market.
