Born in 1969, Jennifer Lynn Lopez is an American actress, singer, record producer, dancer, television personality, fashion designer and television producer. She hails from Puerto Rico, though she has led her life in USA.

JLo, as sometimes called, started music classes at the age of five. She appeared in the TV comedy, "In Living room” but gained recognition in the1995 action thriller, "Money Train”.

Consequent castings like "Serena”, where she played her first lead role, made her one of the most famous figure in the world.

The Latino singer extended her dominance to music, with her 1999 billboard number one hit, "If you had my Love”, after her famous relationship with African American artist, P.Diddy, she dated many more of Hollywood’s admirable, including Ben Affleck, but ended up with fellow Latino, Marc Anthony.

The rise of competitors, like Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Beyonce however pushed JLO back, by 2006. She returned recently with her "On the flow” pop single, and the latest, "Am into You”, which features rapper, Lil Wayne.
