"From Rwanda we are learning resilience, you are actually a reason above every adversity and stood out to be a beckon of success to which as African countries we are coming to say we want to learn from you,” said Dlamini.
Later on, Dlamini and her delegation toured the memorial and, among other things, observed a moment of silence to honor the victims.
Collaboration between Rwanda, Eswatini parliaments
On Tuesday, Senate President Kalinda hosted the visiting delegation. During the dinner, both leaders committed to strengthening ties between the two Senates for the benefit of the citizens of their respective countries.
On Wednesday, the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Donatille Mukabalisa, and Deputy Speakers Edda Mukabagwiza and Sheikh Mussa Fazil interacted with Dlamini, with collaboration between the parliaments of two countries at the centre of their discussions.
"The fact that the Senate President of the Kingdom of Eswatini is here, shows the existing good relations between both countries. It is a good sign of solidarity between our countries," said Speaker Mukabalisa.
