Gasogi United winger Theodor Malipangou is pleased with his impeccable form as he continues to light up the 2022/23 Rwandan Premier League by storm.
Malipangou has been in electric form in the ongoing league where scored nine goals for Gasogi so far this season as they continue to push and finish in the top ranks.
The Central African Republic star told Times Sport that it has been an exciting season for him and that he is proud of his output to the club.
"I am very pleased with my performance. It has been great. And scoring nine goals already as a winger is a good achievement to cheer for. My target is to continue to work hard,” Malipangou said in an interview.
The winger has been a key figure for Gasogi in the ongoing league campaign and hitting the top form earned him a call up in the Central African Republic national team.
Despite his individual performance, Gasogi has struggled to bounce back since they lost 2-1 Rayon Sports in February, a result that was followed by a 2-1 defeat to Mukura while they also lost 2-1 to Musanze last weekend.
Malipangou admits that the last three games haven&039;t gone down well with his side as they have lost nine points to see the race for the title face a major setback.
He, however, remains optimistic that the team will bounce back and return to winning ways.
"Football is like that at times you don't get the needed results. We just have to put those three defeats behind us and move on," he said.
