JUNIOR Wasps captain Emery Bayisenge is happy with the progress of the team ahead of the upcoming Fifa U-17 World Cup in Mexico.
In an exclusive interview with Times Sport, he said, "We have come a long way. We have improved a great deal since the Caf U-17 Championship and the mood in the dressing room is very good.”
"We are still underdogs in the World Cup but we are happy with that tag because it eases the pressure,” he added.
Rwanda are drawn in Group C alongside England, Uruguay and Canada and need to finish inside the top two to guarantee automatic qualification to the second round.
They will open their World Cup campaign on June 19 against England.
