The National Council of Higher Education’s move to rigorously promote quality education in our universities is judicious.Since its inception, the regulatory body has set up relevant guidelines and requirements that universities have to meet in order to operate.

This initiative is crucial since it has helped produce graduates to support the social and economic development of our country.

Most of our universities were messy before the National Council of Higher Education was put in place.  Some could not even award degrees to their students, years after completion.

The high standards required by the Council would help our institutions to produce quality products to match the regional labour marker.

Let us support the council to uphold this high quality so that our graduates compete for jobs within the region and beyond
