RAYON Sport boss Albert Rudatsimburwa and Coach Jean Marie Ntagwabira will meet this week to plan for next season according to the local media mogul.

The Blues are certain to end the season trophyless following their elimination from the Peace Cup on Saturday. However, Rudatsimburwa is not giving up on Ntagwabira after stressing that he wants the 38-year-old to renew his contract.

Ntagwabira signed a three-month deal with the blues which expires in late June and the club management have made their intentions clear about retaining the former APR, Atraco and Kiyovu tactician who has four league trophies and five Peace Cups to his name.

"He is the best coach that I know and we will discuss with him about a contract renewal and how
to improve the squad,” Rudatsimburwa said.
One area the Blues are eager to blossom is the defense after leaking in 23 goals in 20 matches.

With two matches to go, Rayon is 6th on the league table, a point adrift of Etincelles and La Jeunesse. Their final two games are against bitter rivals APR and AS Kigali.
