Dating is any social activity in which your romantic interest is focused on one particular person and that particular person’s interest is focused on you.

Dating is getting to know someone that you like that could potentially lead to a relationship. The difference between ‘dating’ and ‘friendship’ are the emotions involved.

In addition to that is that you may spend much more time with a person that you date than a friend.

Teen dating is complex, filled with newly discovered hormones, painful insecurities and a heap of emotions. As teens discover their inner selves and determine what they are looking for in a partner through years of dating, thousands will face serious difficulty along the way.

Originally, dating was regarded as a legitimate way for two people to become acquainted; in this case dating should have an honorable purpose to determine if couple wants to get married to each other.

Before you jump onto the dating truck, ask yourself; are you ready to go down this road? Do you feel that way about that person?

Now days some youth take the dating casually, they simply enjoy being with a special friend of the opposite sex without any intention of marriage. Some view dating as a way to be seen in public with either a girl or boy to boost their self esteem.

Most youth fail to enjoy their teen years as they build skills, character and they end up getting distracted in funny relationships.

The so-called boyfriend or girlfriend could verbally or emotionally abuse you. Such relationships lead to manipulation, spreading of false and degrading rumors about you, hence try to make you feel guilty.

In short, many teen dates end up in tears, heartbreaks and scars. Remember, dating while you’re still young is like trying to fly a plane with no training or experience.
