In yesterday’s issue of The New Times, was a story, Banks post robust profits, increase lending. I am glad to know that the banks have increased lending. I would, however, request that the interest rates are revised too.

While I acknowledge that banks need to make profits, I believe that with the increased incomes they registered, a reduction in the interest rates will not only attract more borrowers, but also contribute to larger profit margins.
