Musanze-The Executive Secretary for Mudakama cell, is detained for allegedly taking a bribe of Rwf100,000.

Faustin Sendungu, was arrested, after a tip off  by a resident from whom he demanded bribe to include him on the list of beneficiaries of new housing units.

"He demanded Rwf100,000, from a poor person whom we helped last week to get out of a thatched house. We had given him iron sheets, made bricks through community work, as we have been doing for others,’’ said  Aimable Nsengiyunva, the Sector Executive Secretary, of Gataraga.

Sendungu denied soliciting the bribe and instead said that he lent the money to the alleged victim to buy a plot of land.
