In The New Times yesterday, there was a story about how the 3 districts within Kigali City have allocated more than Rwf 1.5bn to the needy.

This is a commendable move that should be recognized. Having budgets specifically for the needy are things that are mostly found in wealthy developed countries.

For Rwandans to be able to cater for the less privileged is quite something.

It really makes me proud to be Rwandan.
