I have been reading about students complaining about the changes in the bursary system in the country. I believe this is a result of over reliance on other people or institutions for support.

That mentality can change if children are taught from a tender age to be independent and learn to fend for themselves.

This will not only make them independent, but will also teach them to work for what they want in life.
