KIYOVU coach Baptiste Kayiranga will be without four key players when his side takes on Police this afternoon at Mumena artificial turf in a race to finish second in the Primus league.

With APR having secured the championship, the battle is now on who will finish second. Kiyovu has a four point cushion over Police but the Green Baggies are without inspirational left winger Faud Ndayisenga, Defenders Mbanza Hussein and Lomami Marcel and striker Rodriguez Murengezi.

Kayiranga is optimistic that his side will cope without the quartet for the crucial tie.

"The team has been in great form, we don’t want to take any excuses for the players that will not be available for the tie.”Kayiranga said.

Kiyovu need 3 points from the next two games to secure the coveted second place that could mean, the Nyamirambo side playing in the African Confederation Cup, if APR retain the Peace Cup.

In the Other match today, Marines will also be looking for an away win against Muhanga to stay in 4th place. The western province club is facing competition from Rayon Sport, AS Kigali and La Jeunesse which are all on 24 points but the former has a better goal difference.

On Sunday Amagaju will host Etincelles, Rayon play Mukura, while Champions APR will be crowned after their league match against La Jeunesse.

AS Kigali will play Musanze on Monday afternoon.
