Dear editor,

For a week now we Rwandans have experienced the greatest disruption in telecommunication services from MTN.

It is an extremely frustrating experience for a telephone user to make a simple telephone call to or from an MTN line.

The service providers will run the gamut of lies, from telling the caller that the number they are calling is not available, the number they are dialing is incorrect or is out of service, or plain not registering at all.

We have suffered dropped calls. God! This is a company providing service to hundreds of thousands of Rwandans, but the way their customers are getting served leaves a great lot to be desired.

Sometime back a very sarcastic writer suggested to MTN simple ways of at least informing their supposed-to-be esteemed customers why, and when, there would be disruptions in service.

He even suggested direct sms messages direct to their client’s phones. But MTN has kept mum. We are not told why, there is no courtesy, like apologizing for providing hot air to us, etc.

Please MTN, explain why there is uninterrupted lousy service from your end, and when we expect a reprieve.
