Liza; When listing the best female artists’ names, the name Liza Kamikazi must appear among the first.
Sure, she was the first winner of "Salaxy” best female artist award with her only song, "Usiniache”.

She beat the likes of Miss Jojo and Shanel who were notably the fans’ favourites in the race.

She was even nominated for the same award a year later, in 2010 after a barren run with hardly a song coming from her shelf.

She didn’t take the award this time.
Is it not surprising, how a person with only one hit song ("Rahira”- with The Ben) can become that famous?

Producer Clement; He has been through a lot of controversies like reports of stealing a song from local songwriter ‘Kamichi’.

He is also said to be among those producers who edit imported tracks for their own productions. But all this does not rule out Clement from the praised audio producers in Rwanda.

The award-winning producer is even far more famous than the number of hit songs that come out of his Kina Music studio.

Uncle Austin; With his comical lyrics, Uncle Austin also became famed. Could it be his familiarity to airwaves that made him easily famous?

Remember, he was a radio presenter before handling the microphone. He never ceases to play his own songs today.

DJ Bob; This CD writer and lately music promoter is also in the realm of the famed ones.

He has forced his journey to recognition since mid 2000s by labelling his name on every pirated CD that comes out of his stall.

Miss JoJo; for many years of talented ladies working hard to beat the "Siwezi Enda” star, Miss Jojo remains the face of ‘a lady’s music’ in Rwanda.

She might not have the best vocals or dance moves, but is the most famous.

Perhaps they were destined to be popular; or they worked so hard and earned it. Why else would they be that famous?
