The poor state of the Kigali-Gicumbi road is deplorable and those responsible seem not to be bothered.
The road is characterised by numerous potholes which is an inconvenience to the users.

The road is impassable, especially during the rain seasons, and this has hindered economic activities.

Many farmers have complained that they cannot transport their produce to the markets in Kigali because of the road. Related to this is the poor drainage system in the district which needs to be looked into.

I wonder whether road construction in our district is not budgeted for by officials in the ministry of Infrastructure.

Or is it our leaders who are dragging their feet? When you visit other districts, you do not see these potholes. We need an explanation from district leaders.
