NYAGATARE-The body of a 7-year-old boy was, on Saturday, found in a river, after a two- day search in Kijojo Cell, Musheri Sector in Nyagatare District.

According to police, Sam Mugosha drowned in River Umuvumba. He was grazing his family cattle when he met the tragedy.

"The child drowned on Thursday at around 1p.m. His parents had sent him to graze cows with his brother near the river,” a police official said.

Jean Damascene Kanyangira, the cell Executive Secretary, urged area residents to keep a close watch over their children.
