APR bounced back from last week’s traumatic defeat against AS Kigali with midfield maestro Jean Baptist Mugiraneza a.k.a Migi scoring twice in a 4-0 stroll against Musanze at Mumena Stadium.

After a goalless first half, APR left back Donatien Tuyisenge opened the scoring with a sublime strike on the 67th minute while Ernest Kwizera scored the third.

Migi, who has been playing behind the strikers, tops the Primus National Football League (PNFL) charts with 13 goals.

The win moved the army side to 45 points, 15 clear of their closest opponents Police, who failed to score in yesterday’s goalless draw against AS Kigali and SC Kiyovu, who entertain AS Muhanga at Mumena Stadium later today.

At Umuganda Stadium, Marine held their ground to beat Western Province giants Etincelles 2-0.
Action continues today when Jean Marie Ntagwabira’s Rayon Sport hosts La Jeunesse managed by former Blues coach Emmanuel Ruremesha at Kigali Regional Stadium.

Amagaju lock horns with Mukura in Huye while SC Kiyovu under new coach Jean Baptista Kayiranga entertains relegation battling side AS Muhanga at Mumena Stadium.

Both AS Muhanga and Mukura are fighting for top flight survival. Muhanga have 10 points while Mukura have eight.
