FOLLOWING their radio hits and various shows throughout the country, the Kidz Voice band, is set to release its debut album ‘African Children.’ The launch of the album is slated for June 4, at Centre Culture Francaise in Burundi and thereafter, it shall be released in Rwanda.The album is composed of 14 singles, including ‘Reggae Prophets’, ‘Amahoro’, ‘Africa’, ‘2020 Vision defender’ and ‘Working Hard’.

The album is composed of 14 singles, including ‘Reggae Prophets’, ‘Amahoro’, ‘Africa’, ‘2020 Vision defender’ and ‘Working Hard’.
Recorded at Dreamland Studio in Burundi, all the songs on the album are in the reggae genre and convey messages of unity, peace, and vision.
Speaking to The New Times, Heritius Dusabimana, the band’s front man, said that he formed the band in 2006 with his brother.
"We were inspired by our parents and our music teacher, KAY-B and we are now four, including our youngest brother and sister,” he said. Kidz Voice band comprises of siblings, Heritius Dusabimana, 23, Patrick Nteziryayo, 17, Pacifique Niyigena, 13, and their sister, Carine Uwase 19.
"The title sums up how the album has come together,” Dusabimana said. "Each song has been slowly built into what it is today. There were some trials throughout, but now all the songs fit together just like they should.”
Kidz Voice band is currently among the few bands in the country that stage live performances.
