RWANDA risks not fielding athletes at next year’s London Olympic Games after reports that sports federations lack funds to prepare for the Games.

The issue was raised during the National Olympic Committee (RNOC) annual general meeting which was held at Muhazi beach resort on Saturday.

Some federations used the occasion to blast the Sports Ministry for failing to clear their debts.

The cycling and basketball federations are embroiled in serious debts after staging international events which according to them were supposed to be footed by the Sports Ministry.
