RWANDA’S U-17 team has landed another high profile build-up match against English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs’s development side. The match will be played on May 18, 2011 in North London, Ferwafa boss Jean Bosco Kazura has confirmed.

He said, "Our U-17 team will play Tottenham on May 18, before proceeding to USA were they will hold a final training camp before connecting to Mexico for the World Cup finals.

General Kazura revealed that one of his ‘friends’ Les Howie (of the Umubano project) helped to secure the friendly match and he hopes that the game will be a great opportunity for Richard Tardy’s team to test itself against a top side like Tottenham.

Meanwhile, the Rwanda U-17 team is in France for a 20-day training camp and they will return back to country at the end of this month.

The team will spend two weeks here before flying to London for the friendly match against Tottenham; they will send another week in Germany training intensively under the DFB cooperation. Thereafter, they will head to USA for the final training camp in Dallas before connecting to Mexico.
