I wish to express my gratitude following the appointment of Dr. Canisius Kanangire, as the head of Lake Victoria Basin Commission, Which is one of the organs that make up the East African community.

I am sure his appointment was based on the capability and good leadership that he exhibited while heading the strategic and management department at the Nile basin Initiative secretariat.

This is serious indicator that Rwanda has good leaders.
His appointment will not only benefit him personally but all Rwandans as well as the East African people.
