History always has a funny way of repeating itself. In the fashion world some items have made a come back and are selling like hot cake in the shops.  

Even though some of these items are considered vintage, they have come back in both vintage and new age designs fitting in today’s fashion trends. Below are some of the few hot items that are currently making waves in the fashion world.

Gucci has some new handbags this season which have been added to my handbag list after purchasing one two weeks ago in a flea market. These handbags are actually not exactly very new in the fashion world, but they were famous some many years ago.

These elegant handbags and Gucci class are made with fine fabrics and are tailored to suit all occasions with ease. As for the color schemes, they are rich and vibrant and have the ability to captivate even the most reserved woman.

Fashion trends come back is the great popularity of men’s jewellery. If earlier in most designer collections accent was made on women’s jewellery, this year men’s jewellery became top fashion as well.  This season masculine jewellery looks very elegant.

Pendants are among the most popular designer jewellery come back in 2011. For men pendants that look like arms are top fashion. Blade, gun and knife pendants always look stylish and emphasize the masculinity of their owners.

Skull pendants are also in vogue, with chains being replaced with leather laces and this makes jewellery look more stylish and up-to-date.

The 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s look is making a comeback. Considered highly fashionable, this look is expected to be flaunted extremely in 2011. Round glasses and replica sunshades are highly in demand mainly due to their high competitive prices and quality.

The retro shades can be found in all shapes and sizes. Further, they even provide UV protection which serves as an added advantage.

Colourful platforms have made a come back for the first fashion trend for 2011. Only this time these platforms have been designed to have a futuristic appeal in them.

Also besides leather and metal finishing, animal skin prints snake skin is among the most beloved ones, high-heel shoes with silk and organza details can also be seen flaunted in the fashion runways.

Little black dress

This essential apparel for many women today was first started by Coco Channel who in her bid to mourn the only man she loved – Athur Capel; she created many little black dresses which she wore daily for many years as a sign of devotion to this man who helped her open the first channel shop. LBD as popularly known can be worn on its own, or with anything. As a formal dress a well cut jacket can be worn on top of this dress to the office.

From office to evening, LBD can be worn on its own paired with pearls as jewellery and a clutch bag to finish the required evening mood for partying or cocktail.
