IT was tears and grief as artistes performed moving genocide inspired songs to mark the commemoration week of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

The ceremony was held yesterday at Rebero Genocide Memorial Site, where thousands of people, including high-ranking government officials and dignitaries gathered to honour politicians, who opposed to the genocidal regime.
