I could not believe that Andy Mfutila is leaving Rayon Sport.  I am deeply concerned by the state of affairs within a team I have supported for the last past 15 years.

Financial problems at Rayon Sport continue to undermine the progress of the club yet this is a club that enjoys a wide fan base countrywide.

Imagine this season; we almost withdrew from the league because of lack of finances. Though money is our biggest problem, Rayon Sport has also failed to put together an innovative committee that can run the affairs of the club properly.

Raoul Shungu, the most successful coach the club has had in history, fell out with the committee back in 2009, yet this was a manager who managed to produce good results for us.

Once again, the committee has failed to keep Andy Mfutila, a coach who has good understanding of Rwandan Football. He is the coach they had claimed would help the club grow. There must be something wrong with the club’s leaders.
