Editor,

I am writing to commend the residents of Musanze District, for launching a campaign that will see them raise funds to help Genocide survivors. Obviously, the Government has already done a good job by building houses for the survivors and sending their children to school. However, the job to care for the survivors  is enormous and cannot be left to the Government alone.

All Rwandans have equal responsibility to help survivors live a decent life. I urge other districts, charity bodies and individuals to come up with meaningfull projects that will transform the lives of the survivors.
