KMC FC CEO Daniel Mwakasungula insists Rwandan tactician Thierry Hitimana will continue his job as club head coach despite fans’ increasing calls for his sacking, accusing him to be at the heart of the club’s torrid campaign.
Tanzanian Premier Premier League side has been struggling for form under Hitimana so far this season, winning five games, losing ten and drawing eight as they sit 12th on the league table with 23 points from 23 games.
The former Namungo FC gaffer has been under intense pressure from the fans who have been calling for his immediate dismissal but Mwakasungula said there is no way they will show the coach the exit.
"I lack sleep sometimes because the club’s recent form has been worse and it is disturbing me even though we started the season well. It turned out differently when we picked many injuries among players," Mwakasungula told the Tanzanian Press
"At the moment, we are looking at the technical bench under Hitimana, closely so that we can support them. We are with the team to make sure we don&039;t get relegated.”
