Forgiving and forgetting is a gift,
When you forgive,
You learn to forgive yourself,
Every time you offend someone else,
It’s the beauty of forgiving.

As the Lord’s Prayer goes,
‘Forgive us for our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us’,
Is the beauty of forgiving,
There is real power in the word,
‘I forgive you’.

Forgiveness is something we have to learn daily,
When you forgive,
The wave of pain that crowded your heart disappears,
Soul- healing joy prevails,
Thus the beauty of forgiving.
