The US Ambassador-at-Large for War Crimes, Stephen J. Rapp, has promised that his country will continue to support Rwanda in bringing to book Genocide suspects and those financing the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda militia.

Other countries have an obligation to arrest and try Genocide suspects believed to be in their respective countries.

People like Paul Rusesabagina, who is accused of financing the FDLR should be arrested and taken to court to explain why he is funding a terrorist group.

As the country commemorates the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, it is sad to imagine that the perpetrators are still at large, and some are acquiring support to finance terrorist activities. This must stop.

The promise by the US should come to action and followed by other countries.
