The local football federation (Ferwafa) Chief Executive Officer Jules Kalisa yesterday revealed that the youngsters’ visit was part of Ferwafa’s activities to mark the 17th commemoration.
At the memorial centre, the team led by head coach Richard Tardy, will be given an insight of how the massacres were planned and executed.
At the end of the mourning period, the team will depart for Paris to continue their preparations for the 2011 Fifa U-17 World Cup slated to run from June 18-July 10 in Mexico.
While in France, the team will play a trial game against France’s U-17 team-the Little Blues.Other games on cards are against PSG, Lyon and Auxere’s reserve sides.
