Editor,

I commend the efforts by Rwandan peacekeepers in western Sudan’s conflict torn region of Darfur and the government for the great work they have done in that country.  They have restored hope for the people living in the war-torn region of Darfur.

RDF’s commitment to support the sustainable development of Turba village is a sign of love and promotion of education in this country.

Children from Southern Sudan have already missed great education opportunities and investing in their future will help them to catch up with the lost opportunity. I wish other players in Darfur took a leaf from RDF.

The Sudanese people are our brothers and sisters and we ought to help restore their dignity.
Indeed, the construction of Turba School is testimony of good relations and cooperation between local community in Darfur and members of UNAMID.

Our troops have exhibited high discipline and they should be commended.Proud to be Rwandan
