Today the market was calm as no transaction was recorded; the share price did not change from the previous day’s closing price of Rwf171.

At the end of business, there was one lot of 6,700 BRALIRWA shares on offer at Rwf171 and no bids.

The NMG and KCB counters did not record any activity and the closing prices for their shares were Rwf1200 and Rwf180 respectively.

The Nation Media Group, NMG has declared a final dividend of Kshs4 (Rw29) for the year plus a special dividend of Kshs2.50 (Rwf18) per share. 

The book closure will be end of business on 31st May 2011 and the dividend will be paid on or about 30th July 2011.
 
The KCB shares are still trading cum dividend up to May 9, 2011.
