WHILE the gap in points between APR and Mukura is so evident, Ernie Brandts is not taking today’s Primus league game lightly.

The league champions travel to the Southern Province hoping to finish the first round unbeaten but the Dutchman is also well aware that clashes between the two sides have always been hotly contested affairs.

Things have gone from bad to worse for Mukura in the last two  seasons and there is little surprise that the ‘once top four side’ is struggling in the relegation zone. Mukura languish in 11th place after picking just five points from eleven games.

"We want to keep winning so the strategy will not change tomorrow (today),” Brandts said before adding, "It is true that Mukura are struggling but we won’t underestimate them because they are still a dangerous side.”
APR still enjoy a 100 per cent record in the league. The army side has 33 points having won all their eleven matches.

Elsewhere, SC Kiyovu hosts AS Kigali at Mumena stadium; Police plays Amagaju at Kicukiro turf, Rayon Sport take on relegation battling side Muhanga at Kigali Regional Stadium while Marine hosts Musanze at Umuganda stadium.
Kiyovu are second on the table with 22 points, 11 off the pace.
